Opportunities to Create a Presence of Your Organization on Campus

Employers are invited to join us for the following Office of Career Strategy-coordinated events and programs. These are excellent opportunities to create a presence for your organization on campus and engage with students in Yale College, the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and the postdoctoral associates.

Build Your Brand on Campus

To further discuss the below options, contact Julia Coppola at or at 203-432-0804 for details.

  • Resume Critiques and Mock Interviews: Engage with Yale students during one-on-one resume critiques and mock interviews. These programs take place during the first few weeks of September and during mid-January.
  • Coffee Chats/Office Hours: Engage in informal small group or one-on-one interactions with Yale students.
  • Information Sessions/Tech Talks: Host an information session or tech talk to meet with Yale students, as well as discuss your organizations initiatives and opportunities. These events can be held on-campus or virtually. These events will be advertised to students through the Yale Career Link system and the Office of Career Strategy weekly newsletter.
  • Job Shadowing/Yale Treks: Host a Yale student at your site for a day, or a few days, of job shadowing and/or career related activities. Providing students with a day-in-the-life perspective of your profession will enable them to gain first-hand knowledge about a career field, and to connect directly with people working in that field. Hosts may choose to arrange career related activities such as; informational discussions and panels, informational interviews with colleagues and site tours.  Hosting a Yale Trek is a great way to showcase your organization, and get to know current Yale students!  This program will take place during spring break (March 13-24). Additional details can be found here: Job Shadowing/Yale Treks Program
  • Connect with Student Organizations: Communicate with targeted groups of students by partnering with Yale’s student organizations. Please contact a member of the OCS Employer Relations team for more information.
