The Office of Career Strategy is seeking candidates to serve as McDougal Career Fellows for the 2017-2018 academic year. In collaboration with the professional staff at the Office of Career Strategy, McDougal Career Fellows work to develop and enhance the quality of career development programming, services and tools available to Yale GSAS students and postdocs, with a focus on the non-academic job search.

OCS Liaison David Puleo (PhD Student in Pharmacology) in the news! 

Read about GSAS PhD student David Puleo and the article for PatentDocs  that he co-authored with Anthony Sabatelli (PhD 1984, Chemistry), a partner at Dilworth IP, a firm specializing in patent law.  David is a liaison between the Yale Office of Career Strategy and the Yale Graduate and Postdoctoral Biomedical Careers Committee (BCC)

New GSAS Internship Policy and Form 

To allow more students to qualify for summer internships and to enhance the ability of international students to qualify for Continuing Practical Training visa status, the Graduate School has modified its internship policies beginning with the summer of 2017. All students approved for summer internships will be registered in one of two summer courses: GSAS901c Pre-Candidacy Applied Research Experience or GSAS902c Post-Candidacy Applied Research Experience.   The application process and policies concerning internships and the new courses are presented on the new Request for Summer Internship and Summer Course Registration form.
