There are many online resources that Yale students and graduates can use in their job searches. This searchable database includes resources that OCS staff, Yale students, and Yale alums have found particularly useful. Individual employer sites are not included, rather this database includes sites with job listings, employer directories, career advice, and links to other useful resources.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC): Preschool Resources

The National Association for the Education of Young Children, the world’s largest organization for early childhood educators, has a magazine designed especially for preschool educators. Teaching Young Children (TYC) highlights current thinking on best practices in early childhood education, innovations in the field, research and its implications, and interesting ideas for and from preschool teachers. The articles and other features reinforce the accreditation criteria for the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards on Relationships and Teaching and encourage effective teaching in the preschool years.

National Association of Asian American Professionals

The National Association of Asian American Professionals is a non-profit organization that cultivates and empowers Asian & Pacific Islander leaders through professional development, community service, and networking. As the largest and fastest growing API professionals association, NAAAP continues to provide its members with the tools and resources to further career advancements and to empower Asians and Pacific Islanders to become great leaders as well as valuable employees. In order to achieve our goals, NAAAP offers a diverse range of professional development programs on the local and national level, engages its membership in community service and organizes professional networking events. These may range from a series of panels, workshops and seminars, and web-based sessions and networking.

National Association of Independent Schools

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,800 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including more than 1,500 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S.

National Association of Veterans Upward Bound (NAVUB)

The National Association of Veterans Upward Bound (NAVUB) is the professional association for Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) staff personnel. Veterans Upward Bound projects, supported by NAVUB, are dedicated to fully developing the personal potential of all U.S. military veterans, just as NAVUB is dedicated to fully developing professional staff members who work with VUB's veterans.

National Black MBA Association

The organization is dedicated to developing partnerships that create intellectual and economic wealth in the Black community through its five channels of engagement: career, education, entrepreneurship, leadership and lifestyle.

National Board of Chiropractic Examiners

The purpose of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners is to establish and maintain uniform high standards of excellence in the chiropractic profession and chiropractic education, primarily but not exclusively by preparing and administering to qualified applicants examinations of superior quality, whereby those legal agencies which govern the practice of chiropractic within each state and other countries may accept,at their discretion, those individuals who have successfully completed any part of the examinations of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and by providing test and measurement services to the chiropractic profession in all areas of demonstrated need, and to advance the chiropractic profession when in the best interests of the corporation and chiropractic testing.

The National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center is an employer organization and comprehensive resource for disability best practices. Its corporate partners are predominantly Fortune 1000 companies and government employers committed to disability diversity. By becoming a NBDC Corporate Partner, companies can proactively strengthen and diversify their workforce as well as comply with the requirements of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal regulations. NBDC can also assist companies in marketing to the 56.7 million Americans with disabilities, as well as gain greater insight into the economic contributions that accessible information and communication technology provides to companies.

National Education Association

The National Education Association (NEA), the nation's largest professional employee organization, is committed to advancing the cause of public education. NEA's 3 million members work at every level of education—from pre-school to university graduate programs. NEA has affiliate organizations in every state and in more than 14,000 communities across the United States.

National Employment Minority Network (Placement Agency)

Nemnet, a national Diversity Recruitment & Consulting Firm, is committed to assisting schools and organizations in the recruitment and retention of diverse teachers, administrators and coaches. Each year, Nemnet serves over 350 educational institutions and assists thousands of job seekers in their search for professional development and employment. National Institutes of Health

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the nation’s medical research agency — making important discoveries that improve health and save lives. Thanks in large part to NIH-funded medical research, Americans today are living longer and healthier. Life expectancy in the United States has jumped from 47 years in 1900 to 78 years as reported in 2009, and disability in people over age 65 has dropped dramatically in the past 3 decades. In recent years, nationwide rates of new diagnoses and deaths from all cancers combined have fallen significantly.
