A summer of intensive research training in an NHLBI laboratory in Bethesda, MD. Interns receive a competitive stipend based on education level. Open to current college, graduate, or medical school students with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Students attend summer lectures and career development events, including Summer Poster Day and Graduate School Fair. NHLBI laboratories span many areas of basic, clinical, and translational research, from molecular biology to population-based studies.
