Yale Alumni Community Service Fellowship, Yale Club of Ohio & Westchester

For Yale College students interested in a nonprofit summer internship, here are some fellowships to consider:

  1. Yale Alumni Community Service Fellowship (YACSF) – these are funded internship positions that students can apply for. They are not a separate funding source where students propose an internship. The YACSF positions are funded through various Yale clubs throughout the United States and are offered in the location of the club. The Yale Club of that particular city selects a nonprofit that they want to fund an internship for and Yale students can apply! Positions are in Yale Career Link. Simply do a keyword search under Jobs for “YACSF” to see current openings. These openings will continue to be offered throughout the spring at various times, so continue to check back. The stipends for these position range so look at the individual posting in Yale Career Link for details and deadlines on when to apply. Current YACSF positions in Yale Career Link include:

Program Intern, DC Youth Orchestra (deadline today!)

2. Yale Westchester Alumni Association Summer Fellowship1 summer fellowship of $4,000 to a First Year, Sophomore,  Junior, or Senior Yale College student  to take an unpaid summer internship at a not-for-profit or government organization for the summer of 2021. . The internship can be, but is not required to be, in Westchester County, however, strong preference will be given to residents of Westchester County, NY or internships being done in Westchester County. Deadline is 3/10/2021 at 5pm. Apply through Yale Students Grants Database. You do not need to have the position secured to apply for this fellowship.

3. Yale Club of Dayton’s Ohio Summer Fellowship – 2 summer fellowships for $4,000 each to a First Year, Sophomore,  Junior or Senior Yale College student. Position must be at a not-for-profit or government organization or an opportunity in the arts that is located in Ohio, with preference given to internships located in the Dayton area. The second preference would be for students who are from Ohio to work at an unpaid summer internship at a not-for-profit or government organization or an opportunity in the arts in the United States. Deadline is 4/2/2021 at 1pm EST. Apply through Yale Students Grants Database. You do not need to have the position secured to apply for this fellowship.
