APPLY Today: Carnegie Mellon Summer Robotics Research for Undergraduate Students

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) hosts an annual robotics research summer program for students interested in robotics, computer science, machine learning, and more. Applications are now open until January 15, 2022!

CMU’s Robotics Institute Summer Scholars (RISS) program provides undergraduate students from over 50 countries around the world with opportunities to participate in a 11-week research immersion. You will explore robotics labs and topics, meet with leaders in the field, attend workshops, be coached and mentored, present and publish your research, and grow as a scholar. In sum, what you do here together will open doors for years to come.

-Applications accepted *November 1, 2021 to January 15, 2022 at 12 noon EST*

-The program runs from June 1 to August 5, 2022 (You must be available for the entire length of the program.)

-Hosted by the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh

– The modality of the program will be determined by COVID-19 guidance provided by the leadership of Carnegie Mellon University.  However, current planning puts the RISS 2022 program fully in person.
