Volunteer with Fair Opportunity Project

Fair Opportunity Project is looking for volunteer mentors who have a passion for increasing college access. We’re a nonprofit that was started by college students to empower all students to access and afford college.

Our Mentorship Program is a low time commitment for high impact: about 10-12 hours of mentoring with a single mentee, typically from the student’s Junior spring through their Senior fall. We are seeking mentors who can provide about 2 hours per month of virtual support to underserved students from across the US and internationally who want to attend college. No prior experience is required—we provide all the training and resources you’ll need.

Our goal is to help level the playing field of college admissions. We want everyone to have access to high-quality college advising, no matter their zip code or background.
