Yale Grad Student finds success at 8VC Bio-IT Fellowship

Elias Quijano (MD-PhD student at Yale) served as a 2021 Fellow in 8VC’s Bio-IT Fellowship. A program, started just last year, that identifies entrepreneurial graduate students with passion for “pushing forward new science and its translation into innovative biotechs”. Only 5 candidates were selected in 2021 out of more than 500 applications.

Elias states, “With this new and profound appreciation of the biotech ecosystem, I am hopeful that I too will be able to make contributions that one day improve human health.”
