Matthew Ellis wins 2nd Prize at NAGS 3-Minute Thesis Competition

The Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools (NAGS) hosted their 2022 3-Minute Thesis Competition on April 28th. This competition brought together participants from 31 institutions to present their thesis research live in just three minutes. Yale Ph.D. student Matthew Ellis, Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology and 1st place winner of the 2021 Yale 3MT and 2021 Ivy+ 3MT, took second place for his presentation: “Using Stem Cells to Model and Treat Cardiovascular Disease.” Both the first place and second place winners will represent NAGS at the Council of Graduate Schools that should be held in December 2022.
