Do you speak another language? YIN needs you! The Yale Interpretation Network is currently looking for bilingual volunteers to interpret for non-profits across New Haven. Our interpreters work for domestic violence shelters, immigration law groups, child advocacy centers, public health projects, and many more organizations. Speakers of any and all languages are encouraged to sign up; we are especially in need of Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Ukrainian, and Pashto speakers.
The time commitment is completely up to you. We will send out placements when they are available, and you can volunteer when you have the time. Gain amazing professional experience while making a massive impact in someone’s life. Help us achieve YIN’s mission that no person ever be denied help due to the language they speak. Sign up using the form on our website: interpretationnetwork.org/volunteer.
