Yawkey Community Service Funded Internship Application Now Open

Apply now through the Student Grants Database

Deadline: Thursday, March 9th, 2023

Sponsored by the Yawkey Foundation, the Yawkey Community Service Funded Internship supports students with a $5,000 stipend who propose to work full-time during the summer of 2023 at a certified 501c3 nonprofit in the New England area (CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, VT). The Foundation carries on the charitable legacy of Tom Yawkey (Yale alumnus) and Jean Yawkey by providing grants to nonprofits, and represents their dedication to helping those who need it most. The proposed internship must align with one of the following five areas of giving: health care, human services, arts and culture, education, and youth/amateur athletics. The internship does not need to be secured before the application deadline.

To learn more about past student awardees and their accomplishments from summer 2022, check out the OCS posts on Facebook and Instagram (@YaleOCS) where we will be highlighting an awardee and their summer experience every week.
