Here’s what’s happening in Ed Studies: Teachers Needed for Freedom Schools Literacy Academy

Freedom Schools Literacy Academy is back this summer! The Center for Black Educator Development is hiring teachers and professional educators for Summer 2023 to work in Camden, Detroit, and Philadelphia. The Academy gives scholars an opportunity to boost their literacy skills, strengthen academic confidence and experience the joyfulness of having their racial identity centered and affirmed.
We are recruiting for more than 200 positions across three cities and will serve nearly 500 current kindergarten-2nd graders! Learn more and apply here.
