Sponsored by the Yawkey Foundation, the Yawkey Community Service Funded Internship supports students with a $5,000 stipend who propose to work full-time during the summer of 2023 at a certified 501c3 nonprofit in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine (New England). The Foundation carries on the charitable legacy of Tom Yawkey (Yale alumnus) and Jean Yawkey by providing grants to nonprofits, and represents their dedication to helping those who need it most.
The proposed internship must align with one of the following five areas of giving, as well as offer direct support to underserved and underrepresented populations: Health Care; Human Services; Arts and Culture; Education, and Youth/Amateur Athletics. The internship does not need to be secured before the application deadline.
