We also prefer that applicants have strong writing skills, can maintain a high level of professionalism, and are comfortable working with patients and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who plan to apply to medical school, but we are also open to other qualified individuals interested in healthcare and/or clinical research.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Patient screening and recruitment into clinical trials

-Consenting patients who are interested in participating in research

-Administering neurocognitive assessments to concussion patients

-Patient scheduling and follow-up

-Coordinating with research sponsors and other sites for multi-center studies

-Manuscript editing and preparation

-Writing and updating IRB protocols

-Assisting in the preparation of research presentations

The qualified applicant will have a Bachelor’s Degree in arts or science (BA or BS), but most importantly, a strong interest in medicine and gaining skills in clinical research and direct patient contact. We also prefer that applicants have a familiarity with clinical data and statistical analysis.

A two-year commitment is strongly prioritized.

Interested applicants should email a cover letter (addressed to Dr. Shetty), resume, and unofficial transcript to Nathaniel Yoon yoonn@hss.edu, as soon as possible. Please be advised that three letters of recommendation may be requested.
