LEAP is seeking applicants for a new Communications Coordinator role. This position is a great opportunity for a recent graduate.
The Communications Coordinator will join the development and communications team and will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing digital and print content to promote LEAP and the associated Dixwell Q House. They will collaborate with the press to generate media coverage for LEAP and play a key role in the organization’s development and communications efforts. The ideal candidate should have design skills, strong writing abilities, and be strategic, analytical, and collaborative. They should also be well-versed in current trends and events related to online presence and communications strategy, and have a commitment to addressing racial and socioeconomic inequities. The position is full-time and requires interaction and effective communication with various stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a relevant field is preferred but not required. The starting salary ranges from $42,000 to $55,000, and excellent benefits are provided.
