2024 Associate Position at Close Concerns/Analyst Position at dQ&A

Are you interested in writing about the latest advancements in diabetes? Traveling to and reporting on ~25 scientific conferences? Interviewing clinicians, researchers, and executives of pharmaceutical and medical device companies?

Close Concerns and dQ&A are seeking undergraduate applicants for our two-year Associate Programs, based in San Francisco, starting in Summer 2024. In this in-person info session, current Senior Associate at Close Concerns Adam Zhang (YC ’23) will share his experiences as a science writer at Close Concerns and will provide details about the Research Analyst Program at dQ&A, a patient-focused diabetes research company.

Close Concerns publishes a daily newsletter that goes out to >10,000 subscribers at academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, drug and medical devices companies, and government bodies. Associates research, write, edit, and publish reports that inform this professional audience about the most important news and research in the diabetes and obesity fields. The Close Concerns Associate program involves significant travel to ~25 scientific conferences per year in the US and internationally.
