Yale Paul Block Journalism Internships – Summer 2024, Post-Gazette Deadline remaining

One partner paper remains open for application as part of the Fall cycle of the Yale Paul Block Journalism Summer Internship Program. This long-standing, well-respected internship program funds Yale undergraduates for intense, 10-week summer reporting experiences at partner papers, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Toledo Blade, the Sacramento Bee and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Block interns are paired with an editor who will have responsibility for assigning the student stories, editing the work, and offering mentorship throughout the summer. Students are expected to perform at a high level, meeting rigorous standards of reporting and writing on demanding deadlines. In return, students can expect to finish the summer with many professional clips and experience at a major regional newspaper.
