Position at The Center for Autonomic and Peripheral Nerve Disorders in the Neurology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

The Center for Autonomic and Peripheral Nerve Disorders in the Neurology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is looking for a new clinical research assistant/lab technician.

The position entails conducting human subject research funded by the NIH investigating the effects of clinically significant physiological and psychological stress on neurological function, collaborating on investigator led research in the field of autonomic neurology and coordinating clinical trials.

Additionally, the position involves performing daily testing on patients with suspected autonomic disorders and working with physicians to analyze results. Research assistants will also help with the processing of human tissue samples for microscopic examination.  

This position would be ideal for a recent graduate looking for a two year experience in both the clinical and research spheres of medicine. Predecessors of the position have matriculated to medical school, PA school, PhD programs, and other graduate programs in healthcare. The salary range is $40,000 to $44,000.
