National Review, Editorial Intern – Buckley Media & Public Policy

Deadline: February 17, 2025
Compensation: $5,000
Location: New York, NY
Apply to Yale Career Link

The intern will participate in all aspects of our editorial process. This will include pitching articles, writing articles, editing articles, and proofreading. Applicants should be familiar with National Review and in broad agreement with its editorial positions and emphasis (which of course does not mean agreement with every editorial position; our writers express a range of views, but they are all conservative in some sense).

**IMPORTANT NOTE: A $5,000 stipend, rewarded to one Yale recipient of this opportunity, is being provided by the generous support of the William F. Buckley Jr. Program, an organization dedicated for the advancement of intellectual diversity at Yale.

Qualifications:
Ideally, the intern will have experience writing student or professional journalism that is similar to the type of writing we publish.

Application Details:
Please send a cover letter explaining your interest and two writing samples (again, similar to what we publish, if possible). The writing samples should be submitted as a single PDF, including copy and/or links.
