We are currently seeking applicants for our Clinical Scholars Program for the 2025-2026 cycle, and wanted to reach out so you may inform the students in your department. The salary is $45,000/year.
The Clinical Scholars Program aims to provide three paid research internships to recent college graduates who plan to pursue an advanced clinical degree in medicine (MD or DO) or biomedical research (PhD or dual-degree). Scholars selected for the program are paired with mentors who are active clinical/research physicians, epidemiologists, research coordinators, and other staff as part of a comprehensive research and clinical education curriculum. This full time, paid position focuses on research activities in cardiovascular medicine at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center along with significant opportunities for clinical shadowing. Scholars will learn from and collaborate with our research teams with opportunities to contribute to scientific publications, and attend national scientific meetings. More information about the Clinical Scholars Program and the application can be found on this webpage (due February 1, 2025).
