2025 Common Good & Creative Careers Networking Event

Are you looking for a networking opportunity within the CGCC industries? Are you looking for a summer internship or post-graduate position? Join us for an intimate networking event focused around Common Good & Creative Career communities. Meet potential employers from nonprofits, education, government, the arts, and more.

Need a professional headshot? A photographer will be staffed at the event to offer complimentary headshots for any interested Yale students.

Organizations registered so far (with more to come as we get closer to the date): Arts Council of Greater New Haven (Arts & Entertainment), Connecticut Office of the Secretary of the State (Government), IRIS – Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (Non-profit), New Haven Leon Sister City Project (Sustainability/Environment), New Haven Reads (Non-profit), New Haven Urban Resources Initiative (Non-profit), Slate School (Education), Teach for America (Education), Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (Non-profit), The Heart Island Project (Arts & Entertainment).

Government, Education Nonprofit virtual Career FairFriday, February 7, 2025 Description: The annual Government and Nonprofit Career EXPO brings top employers to recruit for internships and full-time jobs across the government, education and nonprofit sectors.
Date: February 7, 2025
Eligible Students: All Yale university students and degreed alums are welcome to attend.

All-Ivy Environmental & Sustainable FairFriday, February 28, 2025
Description: Each year, the eight Ivy League schools come together to produce a unique and inspiring career fair that provides companies unparalleled access to students who have the skills and knowledge to address the complex sustainability and climate challenges of our global economy.
Date: February 28, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Alfred Lerner Hall, Columbia University, NYC.
Eligible Students: All Yale students and alumni are welcome to attend.

Ivy+ ‘Just in Time’ Career Fair – April, 2025 (date TBD)
Description: This Ivy+ Consortium event brings together 60+ employers with active openings for internship and full-time roles across all industries. Students from Brown, UChicago, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, and Yale.
Date: TBD
Time: 1:00 – 4:00PM EST
Eligible Students: Undergraduates, GSAS, phds, post-docs, and recent alumni of participating schools.
Location: Event is held virtually on Handshake.
Additional Details: Student registration opens in February.
