Worldpackers is a global community formed by conscious travelers and welcoming hosts who have promoted thousands of connections and unique experiences.

Worldpackers seeks to foster the development and transformation of the world into a more socially and environmentally sustainable place, while advancing students’ careers through international internships for all majors.

Opportunities for Internships

  • Community Intern – Experience an authentic and ethical travel opportunity in Barcelona by joining EnriquezArte, a program dedicated to empowering one of the city’s overlooked neighborhoods. Engage in community building to foster self-esteem, create solidarity networks, and support social and labor inclusion initiatives.
  • Food Sovereignty and Sustainability Intern – Join a mission to combat food waste and hunger in Barcelona! As an intern, you’ll work alongside a passionate team of local and international interns to collect surplus food from supermarkets, prepare meals, and distribute food baskets to families in need. 
  • Hospitality and Tourism Intern – This hospitality internship program, Costa Rica, offers a comprehensive opportunity to gain hands-on experience in guest services, hotel operations, and tourism management.

  • Accommodation on-site: Stay in shared rooms at a cultural center or nearby apartments, just 20-30 minutes walking distance from the project.
