The SPRINT internships will offer a wide variety of opportunities in both emerging and established companies across the life-science industry in Connecticut. Internships available will span across scientific, commercial, finance, and administrative functions and all applicants will be eligible to participate in skill workshops. 

Students eligible to apply include those pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees.

Opportunities of note include:

  • Biology Summer Intern (Halda Therapeautics – New Haven, CT)
    Halda is seeking an industrious individual to join the Profiling Group within the Biology Department for a summer internship. The candidate will be responsible for assessing the activity of compounds using various cellular and biochemical assays. This position requires cross-disciplinary interactions with fellow biologists, medicinal chemists, and structural biologists as well as a willingness to learn new techniques in a fast-paced environment. The position will be located at our headquarters at Science Park in New Haven, CT.
    • Undergraduate or Graduate student earning a Master’s degree in Science
    • Compensation: The position pays $25/hr.
  • Design Intern (Boehringer Ingelheim – Ridgefield, CT)
    Seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Creative Services department located at our Ridgefield, CT facility. As an Intern, you will provide an opportunity for a design student to be part of a creative department learning from our team and supporting in the creation of marketing assets.
    • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student in good academic standing
    • Compensation: This position offers an hourly rate of $20 – 33/hourly
  • Material Sciences Intern (Boehringer Ingelheim – Ridgefield, CT)
    Seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Material and Analytical Sciences department located at our Ridgefield facility. As an Intern, you will be working in a dynamic environment to develop a workflow on the identification of optimal critical quality attributes of tablets for desired drug product performance based on mechanistic modeling of processes.
    • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing within Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or relevant discipline.
    • Compensation: This position offers an hourly rate of $20 – 33/hourly
