Position Description:
The Yale Review is a celebrated literary and cultural magazine at Yale University. Over more than two centuries, The Yale Review has published Virginia Woolf, W. E. B. Du Bois, Rita Dove, and Louise Glück; more recently TYR has published work by Ocean Vuong, Garth Greenwell, Cathy Park Hong, Ben Lerner, John Witt, and Namwali Serpell.
Student editorial interns are needed to help review submissions, do research, plan archival content, provide production help, manage subscriptions, and develop our social media. We take our role as mentors seriously, and the internship is an excellent training ground for those interested in a career of writing, journalism, book publishing, or one in the arts more generally. Interns work at The Yale Review office in New Haven.
This opportunity has been pre-vetted as a Yale Arts Apprenticeship with potential funding through the Summer Experience Award (SEA). Students on financial aid at Yale can find more about this funding opportunity at ocs.yale.edu/sea.
SEA-eligible students will be given priority, so please include information regarding your funding plans with your cover-letter.
