About the company:

Gran Via Productions is a production company led by Mark Johnson. He has produced over forty films and television shows. His movies include THE HOLDOVERS, RAIN MAN, THE NOTEBOOK, GALAXY QUEST, DONNIE BRASCO, A LITTLE PRINCESS, THE NATURAL and THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. On the TV side, he’s executive produced BREAKING BAD, BETTER CALL SAUL, HALT AND CATCH FIRE, RECTIFY and INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE among others. 

Position Description:

In-person/hybrid unpaid internship. Preference to full-time interns, but open to part-time. Hours are 10am-5pm (but can be flexible). Office is in Santa Monica. 

Responsibilities include reading and writing coverage for scripts/novels/IP, assisting with administrative work, desk/phone coverage, research and office tasks. Interns will have the opportunity to engage in creative development of company projects, review and discuss incoming material, and walk away with the skills and experience to excel in an entry-level job in the entertainment industry.
