The LifeSci NYC Internship Program is a dynamic NYC initiative to build a pipeline of talent to fill the needs of the fast-growing life-sciences industry.
Since 2017, the program has placed over 1,200 undergraduates, graduate students and recent graduates in internships and entry level jobs encompassing science, business, technology and more at 250+ top life sciences employers throughout NYC. The program seeks to provide experience and training for students and recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in the life sciences industry.
Students enrolled in a New York City-based college or university and New York City residents enrolled in any college or university are eligible to apply. The program is open to all majors.
Host companies and organizations range from early-stage startups to large pharmaceutical and biotech firms to businesses that serve the industry in specific capacities, including marketing, public relations, or capital investment. Some opportunities are also available in companies in the food tech, climate tech, and biomaterials sectors.
Students who wish to apply must submit an online application. They will then receive access to the job portal, where opportunities are posted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Students should apply for listed roles that interest them by submitting tailored cover letters via the job portal.
