Dr. Cathleen Raggio, orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, is seeking one individual for a full-time research technician position. Dr. Raggio is looking for an individual with previous research experience (but not required) and an interest in basic science research. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their research skills over one or two gap years. The mission of the Raggio Lab is to investigate various skeletal dysplasia disorders and potential treatments. Your main role will be assisting with our four mouse studies, which include drug preparation, injections, dissections, data collection through imaging and histology, and weekly internal lab meeting presentations.
