Anesthesiology Medical Assistant/Office Manager In-Person Role – New York, NY

Overview:
Small, fast-paced anesthesia practice seeking a reliable and detail-oriented assistant. This role is ideal for a pre-med student taking a gap year and looking for hands-on exposure to healthcare operations and patient coordination, specifically in the field of anesthesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist anesthesiologist in various clinical settings, involving children and adults. 
  • Manage scheduling, billing, and office organization
  • Maintain records and credentialing paperwork
  • Communicate with other medical offices and coordinate referrals
  • Based in NY office but must travel between locations (NY, NJ, CT) as needed (MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE)
  • Provide administrative support to the physician

Schedule & Details:

  • Monday–Friday, typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional early start (as early as 5:00 AM)
  • $25/hour plus potential overtime
  • Optional paid weekend work
  • In-person, multiple locations
