Medical Dermatology Medical Assistant

Elite Dermatology Physicians | New Canaan, CT | 1-2 years commitment | Start Date: 8/24/26 | Minimum 3 days/week | $20-24/hr depending on experience

Elite Dermatology Physicians is seeking a dedicated and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing practice in New Canaan, CT. This position is ideal for individuals planning a gap year before medical school or physician assistant school who are looking for meaningful, hands-on clinical experience. 

Founded by Dr. Elle de Moll, a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, our practice is built on a commitment to solving complex skin concerns. You will receive comprehensive training in both the clinical and operational aspects of dermatology. Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, assisting with dermatologic procedures, documenting patient encounters, preparing biopsy and pathology specimens, patient education, and supporting the daily flow of the practice. 

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to build strong clinical skills, develop meaningful patient relationships, and gain firsthand experience in a fast-paced, academically minded dermatology practice.

  • Strong interest in healthcare and patient care
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to commit for 1–2 years preferred
