Interested in building your professional toolkit? Looking to add to your resume while helping a local non-profit at the same time? Want to dip your toes in the world of consulting? The Yale Graduate Consulting Club is offering an opportunity to flex your problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills with our brand new large-group pro-bono project. With this new model, everyone who is able to commit to attending all 3 workshops (Tuesday at 6 PM) is welcome to participate (but be sure to sign up by October 19th!).
What will this look like?
The Connecticut Food Bank has enlisted the Yale Graduate Consulting Club to help them solve an issue surrounding donor recruitment and retention.
During the first session, the leadership of the Connecticut Food Bank will provide more specific details about the issue-at-hand as well as background information about the company. We will then break out into small groups and brainstorm ways to solve the problem and identify what additional information we would need in order to know which path to pursue.
In the second session, The Connecticut Food Bank will provide us with some of the additional information that we requested and then, in the same groups, you will analyze the data and develop a recommendation.
Finally, in the third session, each team will present their recommendation to the Connecticut Foodbank.
Details:
Each session is 1.5-hour long Tuesday nights at 6 PM starting on October 20th. Must register in order to participate. Register HERE
Register by October 19th @ 5 PM!!!!!
