Medical School Panel: International Student Perspective of Yale College Alums

According to the AAMC, “In the 2019 application cycle, 1,890 foreign applicants applied to M.D. granting programs in the United States and 325 of those applicants were accepted. Of those accepted, 272 matriculated into medical school. (This includes applicants who applied via AMCAS and TMDSAS).”

This panel is with three alums from Yale College who were successful in the process and will provide their insight and guidance. Panelists include: Azan Virij (YC’17, YSPH’19, Harvard Med’23), Rachel Jaber Chehayeb (YC’20, Yale Med’24), Divyansh Agarwal (YC’15, UPEN MD/PhD’21)
