The Windham-Campbell Prizes Virtual Festival is an innovative salon series showcasing the creativity of the eight recipients of the 2021 Windham-Campbell Prizes. Each week’s episode will highlight one writer in performances specially curated to their interests and abilities. They will feature theater, music, food, drawing, architecture, translation, postcards, and more! Following each episode, authors will join audience members in a live question-and-answer session. Those in attendance will also have access to a live chat, and loads of on-demand content, including a gallery of objects from Yale’s art galleries and library collections.
With genre-bending explorations of narrative form, Dionne Brand honors the complexities of diasporic experience, gracefully bringing to life the fundamental relationship between politics, aesthetics, and love.
