2021 Windham-Campbell Prizes Virtual Festival: Joy Harjo

The Windham-Campbell Prizes Virtual Festival is an innovative salon series showcasing the creativity of the eight recipients of the 2021 Windham-Campbell Prizes. Each week’s episode will highlight one writer in performances specially curated to their interests and abilities. They will feature theater, music, food, drawing, architecture, translation, postcards, and more! Following each episode, authors will join audience members in a live question-and-answer session. Those in attendance will also have access to a live chat, and loads of on-demand content, including a gallery of objects from Yale’s art galleries and library collections.

Joy Harjo is an internationally renowned performer and writer of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. She is serving her second term as the 23rd Poet Laureate of the United States.
