Humanities and Social Sciences PhD Pathways: Careers in Academic Administration Series--Directing Programs and Institutes

Academic administration is a natural career path for many graduate students, who have not only an intimate familiarity with the operations of universities but possess the research, project management, communications and advising skills needed in such positions. This panel is the second in a series of four that will introduce PhD students in the humanities and social sciences to careers in academic administration. This first panel, featuring Alison Gilchrest (Director, Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage), Maurice Harris (Director, Marketing and Communications at the Schwarzman Center), and Mya Fisher (Director of the Richard U. Light Fellowship) focuses on careers in universities that involve directing academic programs. This panel is a great opportunity to learn about positions in universities beyond the professoriate.

This event will take place in Humanities Quadrangle 107 on Tuesday, March 28 at 2:30-4:00 PM.
