Point: Check out Opportunties from Preferred Yale Partners

As a Yale student, there is an enormous network of alums and employers eager to offer you opportunities. OCS works closely with many Yale alums, parents, donors and employers that hire Yale students on a regular basis across all industries, which we refer to as Preferred Yale Partners.

  • Search for opportunities offered by Preferred Yale Partners directly in the Yale Career Link.
  • Once you log-in, choose the Jobs tab, Search Jobs
  • Choose 'See All Jobs' under the Search button to create a customized search
  • Choose More Filters, and select Preferred Yale Partner 'Yes' (you can also search by location, industry, job function and more).

Tools within the Yale Career Link:

  • Schedule appointments with an OCS adviser.
  • Research thousands of employers and contacts through the Employer Directory.
  • Sign-up to attend OCS workshops and employer events.
  • Search and apply to opportunities, including internships and the On-Campus Recruiting program.
  • Visit the Document Library for peer lists of thousands of Yale students and recent graduates willing to discuss their summer and post-graduate experiences.
  • Practice and record interactive mock interviews.
  • Access CareerShift, a job aggregator that searches internship and full-time positions posted across thousands of employer websites and other public sites.

Tip: Students using screen readers who need assistance with any documents, can meet with an advisor who can run searches and move the results into Word, Outlook, or another format of the student’s choice. To schedule an appointment with an OCS advisor, utilize the ‘Calendar/Appointments’ tab in your Yale Career Link account.

Avoid Fraudulent Job Postings

The Office of Career Strategy posts job listings for the convenience of students. The University does not endorse or recommend employers and a posting does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation. The University explicitly makes no representations or guarantees about job listings or the accuracy of the information provided by the employer. The University is not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions, or any other aspect of off-campus employment without limitation. It is the responsibility of students to perform due diligence in researching employers when applying for or accepting private, off-campus employment and to thoroughly research the facts and reputation of each organization to which they are applying. Students should be prudent and use common sense and caution when applying for or accepting any position.

All concerns and issues related to job and/or internship opportunities, including those posted within the Yale Career Link, should be addressed promptly via email to the Office of Career Strategy.

Question: If you have any questions regarding your Yale Career Link account or the system's features, contact OCS.
