Host Information and Interview Prep Sessions

Employers may incorporate a group information session into their campus recruiting strategy at Yale. Sessions may be held in-person or virtually. Information sessions provide a format for sharing your company’s culture, values, and mission and letting candidates know what they can expect if they work for your company. Students are also interested in learning about diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and programs. Include current Yale alum employees to help students imagine themselves in the roles you aim to fill.

Consider hosting online interview prep and casing webinars as students find these events extremely valuable. According to research by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), students prefer interactive content, opportunities for Q&A, real-life examples or case studies, and a chance to make personal connections with presenters.

Scheduling Information Sessions

To avoid scheduling conflicts, and to ensure the best possible experience for students and for your organization, all events must be requested via the registration form in Yale Career Link and approved by the Employer Relations team.

Once you have a confirmed date, please submit your event details within the ‘Events’ section (link on lower right hand side) of your organization’s homepage in Yale Career Link.

You will receive a confirmation once the event is approved. The Employer Relations team will then promote your event date and time through various channels.

To get started planning your event, contact our recruiting coordinator, Elizabeth Keane.

Secure a Venue

Employers are responsible for securing a venue in New Haven for in-person events and including the location information with your event description in Yale Career Link.

For your convenience, a list of meeting spaces close to campus is provided below. Employers who are meeting with a student club may ask the student leaders about alternate meeting spaces. Priority for Yale’s classroom and other spaces is given to teaching purposes.

(Please note, the above locations represent a few suggestions, not recommendations. Although this list is regularly reviewed, please confirm the location’s current status and hours.)
