By day, Admissionado is an admissions consulting company founded by two Brown University grads (one ended up going to Harvard Business School, the other to USC Film School). By night, we save cats from trees and foil rebel plots. Fifty percent of these statements is 100% true.

We are scouring the earth for wildly intelligent, self-motivated, fiercely talented mentors. Not just any mentor. The Michael Phelps of diagnosing weaknesses in a profile. The Serena Williams of identifying cool, sometimes hidden opportunities for differentiation. The Muhummad Ali of… overall awesomeness. This gig goes way beyond knowing a good SAT score is for a top school. Admissionado mentors work one-on-one with clients, providing high-level concierge guidance throughout the application process. Guidance ranges from helping students finesse their list of target schools to pushing the student to brainstorm (cooler) essay topics, to helping with post-application support for transitioning into the undergraduate world, and everything in between.

We take responsibility and reliability ridiculously seriously. Because parents and students are putting their faith in us, and it’s our privilege to faithfully execute on that trust. If you can’t commit to lightning fast email responses, regular check-ins with students (and often their parents) to defray anxiety and lean into real leadership… this isn’t your kinda place. Brains is one half of the tango, reliability is the crucial partner.

This position is challenging and flexible… and fun—(ya heard right). Consultants manage their own schedules and workloads, and work from home (in pajamas, if so desired). If you’re looking to work only a few hours a week, you can do that. If you’re looking for significantly more work, that’s potentially available too.

While compensation varies, typical Admissionado consultants will make $60-$80+/hr. Consultants work remotely from all over the United States (and beyond).
