Alight’s Early Career Development Internship Program, Inspire
The Inspire Internship is a part of our early career development programs. Interns in this program actively participate in a blended 10-week summer program, across offices throughout the US. This program is a blend of formal education, experiential learning, and mentorship and networking. Helping you to succeed is our top priority. People matter. This internship will run from June 1, 2021 – August 13, 2021.
This position has responsibility for the delivery of project services within Workplace Technology. The coordinator’s primary responsibility is support of Workplace Project Managers in the planning and execution of projects, BAU activities and service / support requests in the organization.
Manage assigned work / tasks
Provides input to PM’s documentation and artifacts.
Assists with communications for initiatives.
Gathers accurate estimates from technical teams.
Provides status reporting input to the PM.
Builds relationships with the various PM’s engaged with daily and across Workplace and Product & Technology organizations.
Understands products and service offerings and can connect client with key SME’s.
Strong communication skills. Provides information to others both internal and external to the organization; represents the organization to customers and other external sources.
Interpersonal skills to build and support mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with team members.
Ability to establish alliances with other departments and organizations through recognition of dependencies and commitment to work.
Familiarity with core project management principles a plus
Applicants for this role must be on track to graduate in December 2021 – June 2022.
Interns in the program can expect to participate in the activities outlined, below.
