Test Lab Engineer (2101519) – Wyandotte, MI
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the Cellasto Test Lab which performs testing on Cellasto® components in support of the Cellasto Sales & Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Chemical Development Groups.
Formula for Success
Using your Bachelors Degree and engineering background and lab skills, you will set up and perform static and dynamic testing of Cellasto parts and components using complex mechanical test equipment.
Your experience in lab operations will be essential to maintaining lab systems such as calibration and preventative maintenance compliant with the expectations of automotive customers.
Your strong communication skills will be applied to accurately document and communicate test results to others including the Sales & Engineering team.
Your strong planning and organizational skills will be required to optimize test lab asset effectiveness while meeting customer requirements and deadlines. These skills will also be needed to schedule and implement new test equipment launches and test equipment modification/repair.
Demonstrating your robust problem-solving skills will be needed to identify and resolve test equipment performance issues and breakdowns.
Your ability to collaborate with others as part of team will be necessary to ensure that diverse customer requirements are met on time within the resource constraints of the lab.
