As a Strategy & Innovation Summer Associate based in Los Angeles, you will have a unique opportunity to partner with teams across Capital Group to help set and achieve the firm’s highest strategic priorities. You’ll be able to work hand-in-hand with industry experts, drive insightful analysis, and help influence decision making processes at a senior level. This is an opportunity to push the envelope and help CG continue to position itself for long-term success.

  • You will work with senior leaders around the firm to support enterprise-wide strategic priorities.

  • You will bring a partnership mentality to our project work and drive tangible, real-time impact on business decision making.

  • You will have ownership over your work – helping to set the research agenda, driving the analysis, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.

  • You will be able to collaborate on a wide range of strategic efforts that the S&I Team is engaged on across business units and markets

  • You are a current student pursuing an MBA with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

  • You have an interest and curiosity in financial markets and the investment management industry; familiarity with financial data.

  • You are a self-starter who is an agile learner and analyzes problems in new, creative, and collaborative ways.

  • You have intellectual curiosity, sharp thinker who actively and positively contributes in a group dynamic.

  • You have the ability to frame and drive high quality analysis and distill key strategic insights.

  • You proactively express your point of view on complex issues, seeks opportunities to drive new ideas.

  • You embrace and incorporate feedback for continuous development.

  • You are an excellent verbal and written communicator.
