As a Training and Development Summer Associate based in San Antonio, you will have a unique opportunity to research and analyze our American Funds (AF) Service Groups’ training curriculum designed to help our associates learn their role to deliver “Best in Class” customer value and service experience
“I CAN DO MEANINGFUL WORK.”
You’ll research instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
You’ll use the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model to recommend and develop curricula improvements.
You’ll develop tracking tools to determine how training is utilized by associates and develop predictive modeling to determine additional training opportunities or recommended skill paths.
You’ll assist with internal reviews/audits of instruction process.
You’ll have a meaningful project which will have an immediate impact on the business, such as recommendations based on research for effective training delivery and process

You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sophomore or junior standing (math, statistics, data science or organizational development a plus)
You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
You can think independently yet actively contribute in a collaborative environment.
You are a clear and thoughtful communicator.
You are interested in reporting metric tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, or Alteryx a plus)
