Job Description and Qualifications
Professor Karen Musalo seeks a current law student for a research assistant position. A commitment of 10-15 hours weekly is preferred. The position is available from May 1 to August 1, with the possibility of extension into the fall semester. Work will be performed remotely. Ideal qualifications include excellent research skills in both legal as well as social sciences materials, and attention to detail. Coursework and/or experience in immigration and asylum law is a strong plus.
This is a paid position. The Research Assistant will be compensated at the UC Hastings College of the Law student research rate of $16.65/hour for 2Ls, and $17.51/hour for 3Ls/LL.M students.
