SOPHOMORES: APPLY FOR DELOITTE CONSULTING’S LEADERSHIP, ALLYSHIP AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (DLAMP) BY JANUARY 21

I. About the Program

Deloitte’s Leadership, Allyship, & Mentorship Program (DLAMP) is designed to connect diverse students and consulting leaders through a cohort-driven mentorship program with a focus on building meaningful connections, developing leadership skills, and cultivating professional confidence.

As part of the program, participants will be accepted into a cohort of student leaders and paired with junior- and senior-level mentors at Deloitte Consulting. Mentors will be the focal point of a participant’s support network at Deloitte, and will help guide an experience that includes:

  • Network building with Deloitte leaders based on industry and functional interests
  • Career coaching and exposure to opportunities in consulting
  • Preparing and practicing for application & interviews, including resume review and case practice

II. Participant Expectations

DLAMP programming extends from February to December, and includes virtual touchpoints with mentors and cohort leaders. Participants are expected to attend these touchpoints.

III. Eligibility

DLAMP is designed for students in their second year at Yale University interested in connecting with passionate business leaders, learning about the consulting industry, and building relevant professional skills to become future business leaders.

Students who are Black or African-American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or two or more races are strongly encouraged to apply. We will prioritize candidates graduating between December 2022 and May 2023.

Participants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

IV. Decision Criteria

Participants will be selected based on academic record, demonstrated leadership, and essay strength. Applicants will be notified about acceptance decisions within 2 weeks of the application deadline. Accepted participants will be invited to a program kickoff in February.

V. Application Instructions

To be considered for Deloitte’s Leadership, Allyship & Mentorship Program, please submit your resume and answer the following essay prompts:

Essay Prompts (please limit each question to 300 words):

  • How are you helping build an inclusive community on campus?
  • What do you hope to get out of the DLAMP program to further your personal and professional goals?

This application will close on Thursday, January 21. Please submit your application (resume and essay questions as an “Other Document”) in Yale Career Link (Symplicity).  Contact rwarmkessel@deloitte.com with any questions about applications and submissions.
