Guggenheim Foundation Thomas Krens, is seeking full-time designers/architects based in our North Adams, MA office to work on a wide range of projects, including cultural development master plans, museum concept development and design, and exhibition design. Ideal applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture and have 2-5 years of professional experience. In addition, applicants should have strong communication skills, be highly motivated and disposed to work as part of a team within the architecture department as well as across other departments. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate the following: proficiency in 3D modeling, using Rhino, Sketchup; proficiency in preparing files for 3D visualizations, using Rhino, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D; and competency in producing graphics using Adobe Suite, or other software. Modelmaking and fabrication experience, including 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser cutting, is a plus. Project management experience in cultural projects is preferred.
