- Articles and Book Project: The RA will support Professor Nanda in a book project on professionalism and in developing research-based and practitioner-oriented articles. This will involve developing, synthesizing, and providing analysis of literature reviews, and revising and editing articles and book chapters.
- In all these areas, the RA will collect and analyze data using a variety of tools (including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations) and sources (secondary as well as primary) to create data to be used in text or exhibits for HBS cases, teaching notes, and technical notes as well as articles and book chapters.
The RA is expected to (a) independently manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects with competing priorities; (b) exercise decision making with regard to progression of research projects; and (c) structure assignments and keep faculty member informed as necessary, employing judgment.
In doing this work, the RA will (a) ensure compliance with department, University, and federal regulations; (b) complete work under general direction; and (c) be aware of department, School, and University policies and potential outside research policies.
The position is particularly meaningful for candidates who want to take some time after graduating from college to reflect on what they wish to do next, whether in post-graduate studies or in career choices, while gathering valuable experience.
