Health & Medicine Policy Research Group (Health & Medicine) was founded in 1981 as an independent non-profit health policy and advocacy center in Chicago working to improve the health of all people in Illinois by promoting health equity.
Health & Medicine recently made some changes to its internship program that further our commitment to equity and diversity. We understand that a successful internship can be an integral part of a person’s education and professional development. Our internship program supports the next generation of professionals who share the belief in our mission of health equity and social justice.
Some notable changes to the program include:
- Interns will be paid $15 per hour for a schedule of 15-20 hours per week.
- Candidates will be interviewed by our Internship Equity Committee prior to being selected
- The program is designed as a 3-4 person cohort
- Recruiting efforts have been expanded in an effort to attract a diverse pool of applicants
We are currently recruiting for our Spring 2021 Cohort.
