Paid summer internships will be 10 – 12 weeks beginning on or before June 1, 2021 (some flexibility is available). HGA’s award-winning Digital Practice Group is organized around advancing the future of practice to create a positive, lasting impact through design. Leveraging a process centered around people and empowered by technology elevates our ability to iterate, understand, and communicate ideas through a widened frame of reference. Automating processes, leveraging data, developing proprietary software, and facilitating a collaborative and nimble environment allows the Digital Practice Group to navigate an ever-changing environment. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include working closely with team members to develop and refine BIM training for HGA. Student will be responsible for reviewing current training and providing critical feedback and implementation of modifications as well as helping develop new training around directed areas of expertise. In addition, Student may gain experience developing new BIM content and Dynamo scripts, and working on visualization projects dependent on skill level and project needs. Qualifications Requirements: Accepted into an MArch program and have completed at least 1 year of design studio or enrolled in a BArch program and have completed at least 3 years of design studio. Junior or Senior level student working towards completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design or related program. Students must also have working knowledge of Revit, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Experience in Dynamo is preferred, but not required. Students must have professional writing and communication skills. Minimum GPA of 3.5 recommended, but not required.
