As our Immigration Specialist, you handle all operations and activities related to immigration including application to acquire valid work permits as well as request for application for permanent residency. Provide consultation support to employees, managers and HR Business Partners relative to securing United States immigrant and non-immigrant sponsorship, adjustment of status, work authorizations and permits for foreign national hires and Group expatriates.
Coordinate administration matters to include collection, preparation and review of non-immigrant visa forms and required documentation vital to support employment-based visa petitions and maintenance of files relevant to ongoing cases to ensure U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) audit compliance. This includes validating information and signing of documents (i.e. petitions, RFEs, Company Support Letters). Partner with external immigration supplier to simplify immigration process, solution development and resolution of immigration issues and risks. Coordinate key strategic and tactical aspects of fee-based arrangements of immigration service providers to the Company. Design and maintain immigration data management and performance metrics, ensuring data integrity. Prepare, update and disseminate immigration status reports to relevant HR business areas including businesses upon request. Follow up on the progress of the application process and work closely with the HR and/or Recruitment team. Ensure adherence to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, regulations and policies and keep current relative to emerging trends and development in immigration law in an effort to become a subject matter authority, while minimizing/avoiding operational risk for the Company.

Qualifications & Experience
- The job holder should ideally be qualified to secondary school and ideally possess a University degree. 5-8 years mobility experience with a background in Human Resources is an advantage. Experience in expatriate management, line management, proven operational experience and good relationship leadership skills required
- Excellent communication and the ability to communicate and influence effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and senior executives, both internal and external to the organization
- Have a highly developed problem solving ability to cope with the wide variation in situations that require resolution
