Description

Kimley-Horn is looking for upcoming or recent Civil Engineering graduates to join our New York, NY office! We have opportunities with our Land Development Services team!

The Requirements:

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by summer of 2021 in these majors:

  • Civil and/or Environmental Engineering

  • Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Biological, Biosystems, or Agricultural Engineering

  • EIT/EI certification or have the ability to obtain certification by 2022

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients

  • Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic

  • Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines

  • Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment

  • Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals

  • Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS

Office of Career Strategy

The Office of Career Strategy works with students and alums of Yale College and Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as well as Yale postdoctoral scholars from all disciplines. The Office of Career Strategy advisors help students, alums, and postdocs to clarify career aspirations, identify opportunities, and offer support at every stage of career development. Services offered by the Office of Career Strategy for Masters and Ph.D. students are part of a suite of resources supported by the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences to foster professional and career development. Career support for undergraduates is a part of a collection of support offered by the Center for International & Professional Experience.
