Founder/CEO of new luxury consumer brand consulting firm seeks assistant. To start it will be 10hrs/week, moving to 20-30 by January. Most if not all of the work will be remote. The position will move full-time in-person to NYC after COVID resolves, depending on quality of fit. The majority of the role is EA but there are some Personal Assistant responsibilities as well.
Requirements include: BA/BS from competitive US college; minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional office environment; excellent written/verbal communication; the type of person who does not make mistakes; facility interacting with lawyers/accountants/branding firms/clients; the ability to anticipate needs, problems and issues; an inherent sense of organization and the ability to create structure for the client’s time and work documents; and facility with computer platforms and tech including Zoom, Teams, Google Docs and PowerPoint. Not required but helpful: an interest in business development and entrepreneurial environments.
Responsibilities include: interfacing with clients and helping the build relationships in keeping with the firm’s mission and tone; [virtual] office and document organization; database maintenance; doing research and arranging appointments for her family (CT-based); and overall comprehensive support for the principal who is very busy in this high-level early phase of her new venture.
10hrs/week increasing to 20/30 medium-term. $40/hr.
